Falcons Landing playground opens on Branthwaite Drive, Rolleston

Over the past few months we have taken our ideas for this brilliant play space through detailed design, consultation with clients, approvals with local council and collaboration with playground suppliers. After recent weeks working closely with landscape and civil contractors , we are very satisfied to see Falcons Landing playground open for business, and delivering big smiles!

Our concept for this play space includeds something for all ages - Kids (and adults) can climb, skate, scoot, ride, swing, spin or rock, with varying levels of challenge. Ample seating is paired with shade from existing Flowering Cherry trees, which were retained on site - the alignment of which helped determine the overall layout for the playground. Play spaces wrap around a new tennis court, and a scooter track winds its way around the whole area.

Three connected ‘nest’ structures can be seen perched up high on a planted mound, forming the centrepiece of the playground and providing a mix of activities, including a giant tube slide.
